On the occasion of the first official visit to Greece of the Deputy Secretary General of NATO, the Honorable Rose Gottemoeller, the Greek Association for Atlantic and European Cooperation (G.A.A.E.C.) in cooperation with Women in International Security (WIIS)-Hellas organized a flashing event on Friday 2 March 2018, at the Ministry of Digital Policy Telecommunications and Media Conference Hall.


The 26th Annual Symposium of the Greek Association for Atlantic and European Cooperation associated with TRY 21 as the acronym for “TRansatlantic Youth for the 21st Century” has been a distinct event, focusing on the “Security Challenges for NATO & EU: Hybrid Threats- Terrorism and the role of Civil Society”. The event took place on the 13-14th December 2017 at the premises of the Ministry of Digital Policy, Telecommunications and Media.


Την Παρασκευή, 9 Δεκεμβρίου 2016, πραγματοποιήθηκε στη Λέσχη Αξιωματικών Ενόπλων Δυνάμεων (Λ.Α.Ε.Δ), το 25ο Ετήσιο Διεθνές Συμπόσιο της Ελληνικής Ένωσης για την Ατλαντική και Ευρωπαϊκή Συνεργασία (Ε.Ε.Α.Ε.Σ.), με το οποίο συμπληρώθηκαν είκοσι-πέντε (25) χρόνια συνεχούς λειτουργίας και δραστηριοτήτων της. Στο Συμπόσιο, το οποίο είχε επετειακό χαρακτήρα, συμμετείχαν Εκπρόσωποι της Κυβέρνησης και της Αντιπολίτευσης, Εκπρόσωποι πολιτικών κομμάτων, Στελέχη των Ενόπλων Δυνάμεων, Στελέχη Επιχειρήσεων, Μέλη της Κοινωνίας των Πολιτών, Καθηγητές και Φοιτητές ΑΕΙ και ΤΕΙ, Δημοσιογράφοι και πλήθος κόσμου.


On the occasion of the visit in Greece, of H.E. the Secretary General of NATO, Mr. Jens Stoltenberg, the Greek Association for Atlantic and European Cooperation organized a very interesting and fruitful Round Table Discussion, supported by NATO’s Public Diplomacy Division.


Mr. Theodossis Georgiou, President of the Greek Association for Atlantic and European Cooperation and Member of the Governing Council of AWEPA from Greece attended the AWEPA International Parliamentary Seminar on “Peace Security and Sustainable Development” in the Belgian Senate , on the 8th and 9th October 2015.


The Atlantic Treaty Association - ATA draws together political leaders, diplomats, civilian and military officers, academics, economic actors as well as young professionals and students in an effort to further the values set forth in the North Atlantic Treaty.

The new security threats encompassing terrorism, mass migration, cyberwar and climate change, were the focus of the international conference Cooperative
Security and Interconnected Threats organized by the Atlantic Treaty Association (ATA) on November 19th, at Palais d’Egmont, Brussels, on the occasion of its 61st General Assembly. 


The International Center for Leading Studies, the new platform for all educational programs of the Greek Association for Atlantic and European Cooperation, faculty and staff of the International Institute for Political and Economic Studies, along with its partners and supporters over the years, are happy to remind that the upcoming year of 2015 marks the 20th Anniversary of our educational programs
