The Greek Association for Atlantic and European Cooperation and The Fund for American Studies were invited to participate at the 10th International Exhibition on Education, 'EDUCATION 2008', HELEXPO PALACE, Maroussi, which opened its doors on Friday 22nd and ran until Sunday 24 February 2008. The aim of the exhibition was to present a range of educational opportunities offered in Greece and abroad as presented by more than 250 educational institutions from 15 countries. As the country of honour, Italy, presented a variety of Italian institutions of higher education and their programs. Additionally a series of presentations and parallel events offered valuable information on the country as a challenging place to study. The Exhibition was inaugurated by the Greek Minister of Education & Religious Affairs, Mr. Evripidis Stylianidis and the Ambassador of Italy to Greece Mr. Gianpaolo Scarante. During the visit of Mr. Stylianidis at the stand of GAAEC, Dr. Aliki Mitsakos and the staff of GAAEC had the possibility to inform him about GAAEC's Educational Programs in 2008 (Photo).

More than 30.000 people visited The 10th International Exhibition on Education, 'EDUCATION 2008' and as such, it was a great opportunity for GAAEC to showcase all its educational programs such as “13thrd International Institute for Political and Economic Studies”, “Kernels of our Future” and the “3 Euro-Mediterranean Journalism Institute”.
