Panagiotis - Vassilis Georgiou Secretary General GAAEC - Youth Greek Association for Atlantic and European Cooperation
Akis is a senior student in Electrical and Computer Engineering at University of Patras. He has been involved in various conferences and conflict simulations. In 2008 he was the leader of the Greek Youth delegation in the NATO Summit Model in Bucharest. Since 2006 he is the Secretary General of GAAEC Youth and Member of the Junior Board of the “Kernels of our Future” institute and also an 2009 IIPES Alumnus. He enjoys traveling and experiencing different cultures. His hobbies are basketball, football, volleyball and watching movies. He is also an IIPES 2009 alumnus.
Vassilis Loutzakis Deputy Director International Programs GAAEC Greek Association for Atlantic and European Cooperation
Vassilis was born in Athens, Greece. He is a senior student at the University of Athens and the subject of his studies is Math. He is also a computer expert. He is a member of Greek Association for Atlantic and European Cooperation and he is a member of Youth brunch of GAAEC. He has participated in several conferences and seminars over the past years and he has been involved as an assistant in some of them. He speaks English fluently and he speaks German and French well. In his spare time, he enjoys playing basketball, tennis and football and he also practices the art of capoeira.
Nicholas Loutzakis Deputy Secretary General GAAEC - Youth Greek Association for Atlantic and European Cooperation
Nicholas is doing his master in business economics and management. He studied at the school of electrical and computer engineering of National Technical University of Athens, (NTUA) specializing in communication systems. He has worked at the Network Operations Center (NOC) of NTUA. His hobbies include reading about computer networks and the Internet business. He is also a the deputy Secretary General of GAAEC Youth and 2009 IIPES alumnus. He was the only Greek participant intheLisbon 2010 NATO Young Atlanticist Summit.In his free time, he goes out with friends and plays basketball.
Ela Vukmirovic Program Assistant IIPES'12 Greek Association for Atlantic and European Cooperation
Ela holds Bachelor degree in Economics and Master Degree in Worldwide Trade and European Studies. She managed to disseminate the knowledge she gained during her master’s studies through her involvement in the project initiated by Centre for promotion of EU standards. She gave lectures at the University of Pale, in Eastern Sarajevo, the Faculty of Politics and Philosophy as well as in some other towns in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Banja Luka on EU and democracy. She was also a volunteer in Friedrich Ebert Foundation after she had finished their school of Democracy. She is IIPES 2010 Alumna, and this year she is working at G.A.A.E.C. through European Voluntary Service as an IIPES 2012 Program Assistant.
Lelde Mencendorfa Assistant to Chairman of GAAEC for International Programs Greek Association for Atlantic and European Cooperation
Lelde has graduated University of Latvia and holds Bachelors degree in Social Psychology. Also she has a degree in design and art and during her volunteering she contributes successful organization’s web page operation and prepares materials for organization’s publicity. Previously Lelde took an active participation in different with charity bounded activities to raise funds for animal shelters and material support for children’s homes as well. Lelde enjoys good movies and during the free time she likes to gain an adrenaline by adventures in nature – canoeing and hiking. This year she is working as Assistant to Chairman of G.A.A.E.C. through European Voluntary Service.
